Director Sales – Enterprise Business
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position is responsible for leading on all sales Function for Enterprise Business. A Sales Director must maintain a strong sales record for driving success of products into multiple regions and industries. Analytical skills, people skills, organizational and communication skills are essential, as this role will be responsible for working in a fast-paced sales environment to ensure successful closure of opportunities.
Required skills and Experience:
Proven experience of at least 12 years in Enterprise Software Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
Demonstrated success in building, leading, and motivating high-performing sales teams.
Experience in selling to Enterprises & public sector in Africa and globally.
Experience in Request for Proposal (RFP) and bidding process, including how to respond to RFPs and navigate the bidding process.
Familiarity with the specific procurement regulations and procedures applicable to public sector
Knowledge of Sales administration, Competitor analysis, and Sales reporting.
Extensive network of contacts and clients within the enterprise and public sector market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
Willingness to travel as needed within Africa and internationally.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Responsibilities:
1.Revenue Generation
Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
Develop relationships with partners and managing all clients.
Develop leads, actively target and follow up clients, identify and prioritize profitable business opportunities in liaison and with the support of the Corporate.
Define and align the go to market strategy for each solution and appropriately execute a sales plan with the on-ground sales team.
Promote Techno Brain as a company in the market to ensure brand recognition and awareness.
Demonstrate a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
Take ownership of driving collections and ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in collaboration with finance and operations teams.
2.Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the African enterprise and public sector market effectively. Identify key target accounts and segments, set sales targets, and establish performance metrics for the sales team.
3.Enterprise and Public sector Sales:
Lead the sales efforts to secure business from enterprise and public sector customers in Africa. Utilize your expertise in enterprise and public sector sales to identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and close deals successfully.
4.Collaboration
Work closely with geographically distant presales and product teams to develop customer-centric solutions, ensuring seamless integration between sales and operational functions.
Leverage your vast and wide network of contacts within the African market to generate new leads, develop strong customer relationships, and create opportunities for business growth.
