General Manager – Sales
This position is responsible for leading each country and bridging between the company and clients and guiding sales and business unit resources to success. The General Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and prospects and introducing Sales Executives into accounts. As Techno Brain expands its reach in Africa, we need a passionate and dynamic leader for the role of General Manager. This person will be responsible for providing leadership to the company, supporting functional operations and spearheading overall growth in the country. The right person for this role is a savvy relationship builder with extensive sales experience and a strong leader for dynamic teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience with at least years four (2) years at managerial level in a similar organisation plus Uganda territory familiarity.
- IT solutions Sales experience the territory with public and private sector is required
- Understanding of the Public Sector ecosystem in the region and has good networks within public Sector.
- Deep understanding of IT Solution sales working with teams from Product Development, Implementation Services and Finance.
- Experience in working on large sales tenders, creating business opportunities.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field from a recognised university.
- Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
- Understand country-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift strategic business direction.
- Work closely with the Chief Sales Officer and several Product Directors to align company products and solutions to assigned territory and accounts.
- Develop relationships with partners and managing all clients.
- Develop leads, actively target and follow up clients, identify and prioritize profitable business opportunities in liaison and with the support of the Corporate.
- Develop the go to market strategy for each product/solution and appropriately execute a sale.
Give presentations, seminars and briefings to clients articulating Techno Brain’s Value Proposition.
