POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Support Admin will be responsible to support and assist Project managers with the efficient execution of projects. The candidate will also have to complete office administrative tasks under the direction of a team of Project Managers.

Required Skills & Experience:

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • Experience of Prince2 or other Project Management methodology and/or best practice is desirable

Required Experience

  • At least 2 years of IT work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project administration, project control, project management office, procurement, or similar is mandatory
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification / Program Management (MSP) would be preferred.
  • Knowledge on any of the following areas would be preferred:
    • Office 365 and Exchange Messaging / Migration Services
    • Infrastructure, ERP Applications and Cloud Hosting / Migration services
    • Application Development, Blockchain, Automation (RPA), Data & Analytic, ServiceNow.
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience with Jira or some other Agile development tools

Responsibilities

  • Governance of Project/Program status reporting for data completeness and data quality.
    • Supporting Project Managers with project-related documentation (e.g. meeting minutes, PIDs, and so forth) in project management tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, Project Server) as applicable.
    • Standardization of templates for project documentation.
    • Assist with audit-related controls (ensuring all projects adhere to PM-controls in place).
    • Monitoring/reporting of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and governance related to UNICC’s portfolio.
    • The candidate can be pulled into projects (shadowing what a senior does, be OICs).
    • Oversee the efficiency of the process and data quality control.
    • Assist with the analysis of data (e.g., Burn rate review periodically, Proactive review of Lessons Learned log).
    • Assist with coordination of RFP responses.
    • Contribute to the continuous development of PMO process and tools.
    • Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Project Management Team
